Auto Kong 4

Auto Kong is a true VIP strain of the jungle. The first automatic flower to join Tommy Chong's™ collection, this hybrid combines full power with Empire State-sized yields. This is Paradise Seeds' spin on the ultra-potent GG4 (formerly known as Gorilla Glue), a California-inspired strain that comes with the stamp of approval from cannabis legend, Tommy Chong, and a healthy whiff of Dutch complexity.

It started with an original cut GG4 from the USA, which was crossbred in 4 generations and combined with Pandora, our original Autoflower valued for its genetic stability. We then crossed the plant until we achieved the phenotypes we were looking for. Unusually for Paradise, we chose two phenotypes to focus on - one leaning towards sativa dominance, the other towards indica dominance.

GG4 is of course the strain formerly known as Gorilla Glue that gained worldwide fame for its exceptional strength and ability to literally glue the user to the couch. Pandora meanwhile is one of Paradise's original automatics and also famous around the world for its fast finish and great harvesting capabilities. The result, Auto Kong 4, is a beast in all departments.

Of the two phenotypes, the indica pheno aroma has more sweetness (the Pandora influence), while the sativa pheno is characterized by a lemony/acidic aroma and flavor more in line with traditional GG4. When it comes to the flavor department, Auto Kong 4 produces layers of sweetness, fuel and a pleasant tartness.

Indoors: In the indoor growth setting, Auto Kong is easy to grow and flexes very impressive muscle in the bud department, especially in the hands of experienced growers. It produces huge dense colas that display all the characteristics that made GG4 such an instant success. Incredibly sticky, the resin count is off the scale, with the glue literally dripping from the heavy flowers produced by this hybrid beast.

Outdoors: Outdoors it will do well, thanks to the built-in automatic high performance that comes from the Pandora element. The dominant pheno Sativa will produce plants that extend a little further (up to 150 cm), while the dominant pheno indica will produce shorter (120 cm), bushier plants. Both phenotypes offer the same giant buds.

The buds produced by the huge sticky cola of this plant are covered with orange hairs. Any fingers used to squeeze a bud should be separated due to the amounts of sticky substance these buds produce.

Entertainment: Power runs through the heart of this strain, but it's not destructive power, and the genetic mix ensures that this will never be the couch glue effect associated with the original GG4. Instead, there is a refreshing, racing euphoria that brings energy followed by a relaxing landing as the Pandora factor kicks in.

Medical users: For medical users who are accustomed to THC potency, this strain has proven to be a success. It provides targeted relaxation for body aches and pains and clarity of mind that allows for all-day use.

Suitable for outdoor cultivation between 50º n.L. and 50º s.L., Auto Kong 4 hemp seeds produce seedlings that finish in 9-10 weeks after seed germination outdoors and 8-9 weeks indoors. Estimated yield is 450 grams per m² indoors / 50+ grams per plant outdoors.
