Mendocino Skunk

Choice of Legends (Hybrid)... Mendocino Skunk, developed in collaboration with cannabis legend Tommy Chong, is a well-rounded hybrid combination of sativa and indica that both novice and professional growers will love. It is a high yielding plant that is easy to grow and offers a pleasant user experience.

Mendocino Skunk is inspired by a meeting of great cannabis traditions from California's Emerald Triangle and the coffee scene of Amsterdam, Holland. Mendocino County is located on the north coast of California and its name has been associated with cannabis since the 1960s. The community's perfect climate and knowledge base have made it fertile ground for quality cannabis.

This hybrid is truly a celebration of genetic heritage with the classic stinky Skunk at the heart of this lovely plant. It was in the 1970s that cannabis growers in Northern California took the plant to a new level of cultivation by crossing genetics from Asia and South America. In the 1980s the strain landed in the Netherlands and rose to another level as Skunk genetics were further improved.

For this exciting Tommy Chong™ collaboration project, we chose to combine Mendocino essence with the best Dutch genetics from the Paradise Seeds vault and we are very pleased with the results. Mendocino Skunk has been one of our popular cannabis strains since it was first released.

In the grow room, Mendocino Skunk cannabis seeds bring no surprises, with a strong heavy aroma with notes of sweet fruit. Once the buds dry, the aroma is accompanied by a self-reported sweet taste like cotton candy, though the terpene profile is more refined than that with an underlying earthy spiciness. The dominant terpenes are Myrcene, Caryophyllene, Humulene and Ocimene.

Indoors: This plant is shorter and bushier than many varieties, making it a good choice for beginners, although experienced growers will appreciate its ease of growth and pleasing all-around qualities.

A good addition to your indoor growing arrangement, Mendocino Skunk is a stable plant that will grow to a medium size, so it's a good choice if your growing space is limited. With a thick central cola, the side branches of this plant will provide good bud growth and the calyx-to-leaf ratio makes for a quick cutting job once harvest comes around.

Outdoors: This plant will also thrive in outdoor growing areas, providing a joyful experience for growers in northern regions thanks to the Mendocino factor in the Skunk mix. In warmer, more Mediterranean climates, there is potential to increase optimal yield levels as this is a highly sun responsive plant.

Mendocino Skunk buds swell to impressive size and fill with resin production. The marshmallow hair coating and pink palate coloring are features that will appeal to any cannabis grower.

Entertainment: The result, as you might expect from its hybrid nature, is well balanced and smooth. "Ulifting" is an attribute that has been used to describe Mendocino Skunk, with a positive euphoria and a sense of well-being that will brighten your day.

Mendocino Skunk hemp seeds are suitable for outdoor cultivation between 50º n.L./50º s.L. Plants are ready for harvest in early October outdoors (n.L.) and between 7-8 weeks indoors. The estimated yield is 700 g per m² indoors/1000 g per plant outdoors.
