Automatic

...some growers prefer to grow automatic seeds indoors as they tend to grow extremely well and produce huge yields if you provide more than 20 hours of light.

In the sense of automatic cannabis seeds we mean autoflowering cannabis strains where they are those that do not depend on the light cycle to initiate flowering. They are perfectly capable of growing to complete the cycle on their own with minimal interference.

Automatic cannabis plants are descendants of the hemp species Ruderalis. Thanks to the perennial breeding techniques used by cannabis breeders, you can now grow automatic cannabis plants in the comfort of your home in countries where it is allowed. Basically, autoflowers have no specifics and require no changes in their cycle. In short, the grower does not need to manually change the light cycle from a cycle of e.g. 18/6 to 12/12. These plants go through a growing season that lasts 3-4 weeks depending on the genetics and start the flowering cycle as soon as the plant reaches a certain height or when it reaches certain leaf sets or when it reaches its age regardless of its size. So whether you provide a cycle of 18/6 or 12/12, the autoflowering strains will flower automatically.

Many growers grow autoflowering cannabis seeds outdoors because the cannabis seed cycle is not constant from start to finish and so they don't worry about whether they will flower. However, some growers prefer to grow autoflowering seeds indoors as they tend to grow extremely well and produce huge yields if you provide more than 20 hours of light.

In general, autoflowering cannabis seeds are hybrid strains containing both indica and sativa genetics alongside ruderalis genetics, the latter of which is responsible for the ability of the plants to flower automatically. Hemp ruderalis is native to Siberia and surrounding regions. Due to the short summer season there, these plants flower automatically but are poor in cannabinoids. This is why it took many years of breeding to get to the point where we have fanatical supporters of automatic cultivars in a short time and not without reason.

Photoperiod

Simply put, the flowering period is triggered by a specific change in the light cycle.

The hemp plants photoperiod are those that react to changes in their light cycle. In nature, cannabis plants grow based on the period of light and darkness they receive. Naturally, summers have more daylight than darkness and plants grow but do not flower if they receive more daylight. However, as seasonal changes occur, days become shorter and nights longer. At this stage, plants realize that the beginning of the end of their life cycle is coming and try to flower and bear fruit well before winter sets in. Simply put, the flowering period is triggered by a specific change in the light cycle.

In this category, you will find photoperiod cannabis seeds or strains that continue to grow as long as they receive more than 12 hours of light outside or inside. This applies to both male and female cannabis plants. When grown outdoors, they should be planted in early summer to allow sufficient time for growth. Depending on latitude, outdoor growers plant seeds during the summer to encourage growth until the nights are longer. However, since not every grower can grow cannabis plants outdoors, they can do so with artificial light indoors. As long as they mimic the cycle of natural light, the plants grow pleasantly.

It should be noted that these photoperiod cannabis plants will never bloom if they have more than 12 hours of light. Most growers follow an 18/6 cycle (18 hours of light and 6 hours of darkness) during the growing season, but when they want the plants to flower, they switch to a 12/12 cycle where the plants receive 12 hours of light and 12 hours of darkness. Once the grower is satisfied with the growth of the light-period cannabis plants he is growing, he can change the schedule and the plant can enter the flowering phase.

Regular

Regular seeds also give you the opportunity to breed many cannabis plants and conduct experiments to deepen the science of the cannabis kingdom.

The regular hemp seeds - regular can be grown in either male or female plants. Many experienced growers cling to regular seeds mainly because they prefer true cannabis plants that are less unlikely to turn into hermaphrodites and regulars are generally stronger plants.

Hermaphroditic cannabis plants produce seeds on the plant and the plant is more focused on seed production than on thc production, which cannabis growers do not want. Since regular seeds are not modified in any way to change the sex of the plant, experienced cannabis growers really appreciate them. Although it is not possible to identify the sex of the plant while it is still a seed, a 50/50 male/female ratio is considered appropriate. Regular seeds also give you the opportunity to breed many cannabis plants and conduct experiments to delve deeper into the science of the cannabis kingdom. For example, your favorite plant can be isolated as a mother and pollinated with male pollen from the same strain to produce seeds, keeping the genetics intact. If you don't want to experiment, however, regular cannabis strains can still be grown effectively. All you need to do is remove the male plants as soon as they are detected. While the female plants produce hipera, the male plants produce pollen-secreting bananas.

It is recommended that you sow more seeds than usual if you are only planting regular cannabis strains, because it allows you to replenish the male plants that will be discarded later. This is why regular seeds are preferred in countries where it is legal to grow cannabis.

Genotypes

Indica

..most Indica strains have a higher concentration of CBD and this is probably why it is beneficial in relaxing the muscles of the body.

Indica is a type of cannabis plant. Indica stems usually grow more bushy in a horizontal manner instead of growing vertically. The leaves are broad and sturdy and the plants don't grow too tall, making them perfect for indoor growing. Due to the high amount of chlorophyll, the leaves are darker and greener than usual. Indica strains originated and were cultivated mainly in the Middle East. However, thanks to the relentless efforts of breeders, they are now available in almost every part of the world. Most Indica plants also have a shorter flowering cycle than other cannabis plants. They are better suited to cooler climates with short seasons. Medical cannabis patients prefer Indica strains for their sedative effect.

High Indica strains help alleviate many ailments, including chronic pain, but most Indica strains have a higher concentration of CBD and this is probably why it is beneficial in relaxing the muscles of the body. Perfect for use after a long day at work, Indica strains work great at night, just before your day is over. A small amount of Indica definitely helps with insomnia. Cannabis Indica plants are commonly associated with the classic "couch lock" that makes it difficult for users to do anything but relax on the couch. This body high can be extreme at times, but such effects are also preferred by medical cannabis consumers as it helps relieve pain. Cannabis enthusiasts generally prefer Indica plants due to their shorter flowering cycles that guarantee more harvests. In this section, you will find a mix of regular, auto and feminized seeds that display Indica characteristics.

Hybrids

The hybrid strains combine Indica and Sativa genetics, infusing them with a potent and varied action profile ranging from stimulant with hilarious laughter to deeply relaxing and calming.

From a consumer perspective, hybrid cannabis is cannabis that has effects similar to indica and sativa. Hybrid strains combine the genetics of indica and sativa, infusing them with a potent and varied profile of effects ranging from stimulant with hilarious laughter to deeply relaxing and sedative.
As cannabis breeding techniques continue to develop and evolve, most of the strains available on the market today are, in fact, hybrids!

When browsing the menu of a shop selling cannabis seeds you are likely to find the majority of their strains divided into Indica and Sativa varieties. This is simply a handy and long-lasting way of organising cannabis strains by results. Even if your favorite strain is referred to as "Sativa" or "Indica", chances are it's actually a "sativa dominant" or "indica dominant" hybrid. This is because, except for many native varieties, very few strains actually have pure Indica genetics or pure Sativa genetics. Almost every strain you see today contains some mix of Indica and Sativa influences from genetic crosses in its past.
You may occasionally come across a pure local strain like Afghan Kush (which is a true Indica) or Malawi (a true Sativa), but these are few and far between compared to the huge volume of hybrid cannabis strains out there.
