The Odet is a river of Finistère which passes through Quimper and flows into the Atlantic at Bénodet. In 1822, one of the first factories was created not far from the source of the Odet.
Cascadec in Scaer is the name of the place where one of the factories is located. The latter is now part of the Glatfelter Group and is called Papeteries de Cascadec.
Bolloré is the name of the creator of this company. It is his grandson, Vincent Bolloré, who reactivated production in Brittany.
