How do we calculate mg THC to 0.3%?
To calculate the mg THC to 0.3% in a product, follow the steps below:
Step 1: Know the weight of the product:
First, measure the weight of the product in milligrams (mg).
The formula you then use for this calculation is as follows.
Potency (% THC) = Total mg of THC ÷ Total weight of Product in mg
For example, if a product has 20mg of THC and weighs 12g and we need to
find the percentage of THC, we first convert the weight from grams to
milligrams
so 12 g * 1000 mg/g = 12000 mg
and now we divide the amount of THC by the grams and we have the potency
20 mg THC / 12000 mg = 0.001666 ≈ 0.17% THC
